🌲 Environment
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources ended its first bobcat trapping season early on Dec.
6 after trappers killed 250 bobcats, meeting the quota in just four weeks instead of the full season from Nov. 8 to Jan. 31; officials plan to review data and use the same procedures next year.

Ball State basketball lost 68 to 64 to South Dakota State on Dec.
9; (junior guard Joey Hart scored a career high 18 points while freshman forward Preston Copeland contributed strong rebounds) and the team looks to build on its improved offense as it prepares for upcoming MAC play.
