- ➤ Center Township Trustee Kay Walker announced that the Lone Pine Lodge Family Shelter will open Friday, Nov. 14 at 1214 E. Main St from 3 to 6 p.m. to provide temporary housing and support for families facing homelessness in Muncie—community members are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. to tour the facility and learn about donation and volunteer opportunities. - ➤ Ball State University's Theatre and Dance Department will present Goodnight, Tyler by B.J. Tindal with shows on Nov. 15, 16, and 18-22 at 7:30 p.m.; a matinee is planned on Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m. Star Press

- ➤ On Tuesday, Daleville girls basketball came from behind with an 11-point deficit and forced overtime as junior Olivia Pratcher scored a career-high 27 points with clutch free throws — leading the Broncos to a 77-73 win over Monroe Central. Senior Addisyn Gothrup, who scored 22, is now within reach of both 1,000 career points and the team’s all-time scoring record as the season gains momentum. Star Press
- ➤ Ball State women's basketball improved to 3-0 after they beat Northern Kentucky 95-64 at Worthen Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Transfer players Bree Salenbien and Karsyn Norman led the win with 20 and 18 points respectively + the team capitalized on 21 turnovers to score 25 points. Star Press
