Ball Brothers Foundation awarded over $5 million in its second round of grants to boost the East Central Indiana health-care workforce pipeline.
The funding supported expanded physician training at IU School of Medicine Muncie and will help offer hospital tours and dual-enrollment programs to high school students — actions intended to ease local health-care shortages.
