Ball State University will present the North American tour of Tina — The Tina Turner Musical at Emens Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Nov.

The community is asked to vote online for the best high school band in East Central Indiana to honor local students and teachers.
The poll runs until noon Friday, Nov 7 + votes by email are not counted.
Lilly Endowment Inc. is launching the Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education initiative to help Indiana colleges and universities address AI challenges and opportunities—schools can apply for planning, implementation, or collaborative grants with awards from $125,000 to over $25 million. The endowment will announce planning grants by the end of 2025 and other awards by the end of 2026.
The Muncie Area Career Center will host a Career and Technical Education Open House on November 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 4301 S.
Cowan Road—allowing prospective juniors and seniors from partner high schools to meet instructors, tour classrooms and labs, and participate in hands-on activities to learn about its 15 CTE programs.
Ball State University Libraries is marking Bracken Library’s 50th anniversary with two community events this November—one event on Nov 6 featuring a Civil War history session with wine and appetizers, and a tribute to late Steve Bell on Nov 14 in Room 210.
The programs will let the campus and community learn about the Bracken family’s local legacy and Bell’s impact in journalism and teaching.

27-Nov. 1 is open and will remain open until noon Friday, Nov. 7, with IU Health as the sponsor. Reigning winner Leighton Brown of Jay County football, who rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns, faces a slate of nominees from Yorktown, Muncie Central, Monroe Central and Delta.
