- ➤ Ball State University will host author Christina Diaz Gonzalez as the 2025 Writer-in-Residence from Nov. 3 to Nov. 6—she will speak to college students and lead free events for local elementary and middle schools in Muncie with book signings following each event. Star Press
- ➤ Indiana University's Turning Point USA chapter is hosting former Fox News host Tucker Carlson today as part of Charlie Kirk's American Comeback Tour—planned before Kirk died last month. - ➤ The Orionid meteor shower peaks today, letting stargazers see up to 20 meteors per hour from debris left by Halley’s Comet—an event boosted by a new moon’s darker skies.
