- ➤ Feed My Sheep Muncie will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a free Thanksgiving dinner for families at Muncie Central High School on Nov. 27. The non-profit will run a monthlong food drive from Oct. 22 to Nov. 22 and seeks volunteers to deliver meals and help prepare food—donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 145 in Yorktown. Star Press

- ➤ The Robert Cooper Audubon Society will honor five conservation heroes on Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Ball State University Alumni Center with inspiring presentations, appetizers and door prizes. The free event will run from 6 to 9 p.m.—all are welcome to attend. Star Press
