This summer, the Heart of Indiana United Way program Road to Reading delivered 3,446 free books to Muncie families as the Ivy Tech RV visited four neighborhood events — allowing children and adults to build literacy-rich home libraries.
The initiative also drew 1,039 visitors and 337 volunteer hours while reaching 45% Promise Neighborhood participants.
