  • Indiana football remains a strong contender for the College Football Playoff even if they lose to Oregon today at 3:30 p.m.—the undefeated Hoosiers posted a 63 to 10 win over Illinois and will secure a clear path to the CFP if they win their contest against No. 22 Penn State.  Star Press
  • Friday night high school football games in the Muncie area and across the state on October 10 ended with a range of scores—local matchups included Muncie Central winning 21 to 16 and Monroe Central scoring 56. The compiled results also show New Palestine’s 70-point win and other state games that highlighted a competitive evening.  Star Press
  • Yorktown and Pendleton Heights, both 6-1, will clash tonight in a Hoosier Heritage Conference game as live score updates cover all East Central Indiana high school football matchups.
