- ➤ Ball Brothers Foundation celebrated its 20th anniversary of the Fellows Program at the Delaware Country Club—gathering nearly half of its 40 alumni to discuss nonprofit leadership and share new insights. The event highlighted remarks from President Jud Fisher and included a gift of Simon Sinek’s book The Infinite Game to this year’s fellows, Missy Modesitt and Joy Rediger. Star Press
- ➤ Matt Peiffer, a former foster youth and founder of A Voice for Kids, will speak today at City Hall (300 N. High St.) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. about his personal experience with abuse and the struggles foster kids face when they age out of care. Star Press
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Ball State University trustees reported that Fall enrollment reached over 20,200 students, including 3,733 freshmen with strong academic records. Muncie Community Schools showed progress as third-grade reading proficiency climbed to 79.2 and the district recorded higher graduation and increased Pre-K enrollment. Star Press
