Delaware County commissioners will vote on Tuesday, Oct.
7 at 9 a.m. at the County Building on a utility solar ordinance that may delay solar development—critics say that a property value guarantee and a setback of 500 feet hinder progress. The proposed changes are meant to protect homeowners and allow farmers to use most of their land if solar projects move ahead.
🏈 Sports
Monroe Central athletic trainer Kyle Parkison will run 157 miles starting October 5 to raise $5,000 for the East Central Indiana Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
After a 2020 attempt stopped at 67 miles, he built stronger training through recent marathons and local students plan to cheer him as he runs through Parker City — his home route — on this challenge.
