- ➤ Teacher Chris Smith of Muncie Central used a Teacher Creativity grant from Lilly Endowment to retrace Lewis and Clark's route in July—he canoed the Missouri River, hiked the Lolo Trail, and camped outdoors, and now he plans to share his experience with students and community groups. Star Press
