- ➤ Ball Brothers Foundation has awarded grants for new outdoor projects along White River and Prairie Creek Reservoir; a canoe launch will be built on Memorial Drive this winter, 69 mile-marker signs will be installed along the river, and a 1.2-mile ADA accessible trail will extend to local park amenities. - ➤ Hull Property Group announced it will demolish 255,000 square feet of the Muncie Mall—eliminating former JCPenney, Sears and a movie theater—to open up outparcel areas along McGalliard and create space for new retail including a 7,000-square-foot area for a sit-down restaurant; work preparing the facility is expected to begin in early October.
