- ➤ Yorktown won the girls golf sectional title with a team score of 325 on Sept. 20 at Crestview Golf Club—its first win since 2015—while Monroe Central made history by advancing to regionals for the first time and Delta also moved on with a score of 363; several golfers from Burris, Wes-Del, and Daleville advanced as individuals, and the regional tournament will be held on Sept. 27 at Edgewood Gold Course in Anderson.
