Local voters can cast their votes in The Star Press & IU Health Athlete of the Week poll for Aug 25-30 as the contest stays open until Friday, Sept 5 at noon ET and features standout high school athletes from the area.

The poll for The Star Press IU Health Football Player of the Week is open until noon Friday and asks local fans to choose among five nominees after Yorktown senior Nate Luzadder led his team with three touchdowns in his debut.

The nominees include Kaden Crumes, Griffin Gannom, Cash Cowley, Caleb Hummel and Luke Sherrell — email votes will not be counted.
