Local residents gathered Friday night at Union Chapel to pray for 19-year-old Matthew Morey who went missing after jumping into the Mississinewa River on Aug.
12 (search efforts were suspended a day later due to rising water levels). He was set to start at Purdue this weekend.

The search for Matthew Morey, a recent Delta High School graduate set for Purdue admission, ended on Saturday, Aug.
15 when his body was recovered from the rain-swollen Mississinewa River near the iron bridge along Gregory Road in Albany (earlier efforts were delayed by record rainfall and rising water levels).
