- ➤ Ball State University is partnering with Greater Muncie Habitat for Humanity in August for a monthlong volunteer initiative called Ball State Builds—designed to support affordable housing through community build days. - ➤ A meeting on Monday, July 28 will begin at 5 p.m. at the Maring-Hunt Library at 2005 S. High St. to discuss how wind and solar power will affect county government budgets with former state representative Greg Beumer and current county council president David Lenkensdofer presenting insights + the event is hosted by the League of Women Voters of Indiana to examine renewable energy projects in Randolph County.
