The Muncie Quilters Guild delivered 240 handmade blankets to 12 preschool classrooms on the first day of school to bring comfort and color to learning, a project now in its fifth year.
The guild meets monthly at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and Remedy Church for daytime and evening sessions.

Ball State held its 205th Summer Commencement at Worthen Arena on July 18, awarding about 1,200 degrees across all programs and featuring Katherine Denker’s 'Foundations and Flight' speech, which urged graduates to embrace hope and pursue meaningful work — blending academic achievement with personal growth.
