A rare Bob Ross painting, Mountain Summit, sold for $320,000 yesterday at an auction by Bonhams Skinner, with net proceeds benefiting Ball State PBS where Ross filmed his show over 40 years ago.

A Bob Ross painting from ‘The Joy of Painting’ sold for $320,000 at a June 30 auction, and its proceeds will fund Ball State PBS programming in Muncie & honor his strong ties to WIPB.

Hull Property Group is set to demolish Muncie Mall and redevelop its 25-acre site with a wholesale club + retail space and apartments along McGalliard Road; phase one will remove about 250,000 sqft with $2.8 million in tax increment financing boosting the project.
