Regional gas prices in the Midwest rose for the second week in a row when regular fuel averaged $3.09 per gallon on Monday, up from $3.03 last week, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
The monthly 7-cent increase and a national average of $3.21 per gallon show that Midwest prices remained about 4% lower than the nation’s overall level.
