The Delaware County Athletic Hall of Fame will host its 28th golf outing on Friday, July 24 at Crestview Golf Club and a 46th induction dinner on July 25 at Ball State Alumni Center; tickets must be bought online by July 5 to fund scholarships and upkeep (downtown).

Muncie Resists and the League of Women Voters will host a public meeting on data centers on Monday, June 29 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4800 W.

Bradford Drive. Bryce Gustafson will discuss economic promises and environmental costs — community members may join for free.

The Muncie Crisis Center will cease operations effective July 3 after earlier plans extended service until December — people receiving care should contact Meridian Health Services immediately.

The building at 809 W. Eighth St. will later become a no-cost community health clinic run by Muncie Mission.

Starting July 1, a new Indiana law will change SNAP rules by limiting help to households that meet income cutoffs and require U.S. citizenship or legal residency (with some exceptions for candy and soft drinks).

The law is part of the state’s summer policy changes.
