Nick Werner was named executive director of Red-tail Land Conservancy in Muncie — replacing Julie Borgmann who retired this spring after eight years.
The board selected Werner for his local conservation and communications experience to broaden the organization’s mission in East Central Indiana.

Ball State baseball alumni continue to shine in MLB with six active players, each coached by Rich Maloney.
The players, now on teams such as the Dodgers, Astros, Diamondbacks, Orioles and White Sox, rank among the top mid-major collegiate talents.
