Austin Scales (27), a lead educator at United Day Care Center, was honored with the Hoosier Educator Award in Indianapolis on June 8.

Indiana Treatment Centers will soon open a new treatment center in Delaware County to improve care for substance use & mental health conditions.
The facility will offer detox & residential services and host a grand opening on June 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3000 S. Tillotson Ave.

Monroe Central won its first boys golf sectional championship since 2021 with a score of 317 on Monday, June 8 at Hickory Hills Golf Club (they celebrated by jumping in the pond next to hole 3), while Delta and Yorktown placed second and third to earn regional spots.
