- ➤ The YMCA of Muncie announced Wade Hampton as its interim chief executive officer, and he will begin serving on June 1 as the organization starts a national search for a permanent leader. Hampton brings over 43 years of YMCA experience and will guide the organization through its transition + he currently leads the Indiana Alliance of YMCAs. Star Press
- ➤ A Memorial Day service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, May 26 at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Heekin Park. Hosted by the United Veterans of Delaware County, the ceremony will include remarks by Vietnam veteran Gary Turner, a roll of honor, a wreath tribute, a rifle salute and taps by the Delaware County Honor Guard — with chaplain Hank Hansen offering a prayer and Mayor Dan Ridenour set to participate. - ➤ The Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever will host a basketball camp at the YMCA of Muncie, located at 615 North Walnut Street, for boys and girls ages 7—15 from June 2 to June 6. Campers will receive TNBA coaching, an official camp jersey, a basketball, a game ticket voucher, and opportunities for prizes while online registration remains available. Star Press
