  • Tom Cherry Old Time Radio Show will take place on May 23 at Farmland Community Center, 100 N. Main St. The show offers a $1 ticket drama with live performances, local talent, musical guest Dan Wright, and interactive audience games (including a segment called It Pays to Be Ignorant).  Star Press

HEALTH NEWS

  • IU Health opened a donor-funded adaptive playground for children in therapy at Ball Memorial Hospital on May 12. The outdoor space, which includes a memorial bench for donor Mary Jo Lovett, helps kids build skills + supports families.  Star Press

  • The IHSAA girls track sectional at Delta was held on Tuesday, May 19 after a nearly two-hour lightning delay, with Delta High winning its fourth title in five years and top finishers qualifying for regionals; Sectional 22 at Pendleton Heights was postponed to Wednesday, May 20.  Star Press
