Local schools are competing in the IHSAA girls tennis sectionals this week as events take place at New Castle, Jay County, and Delta.
New Castle’s match starts today at 5 p.m. with Knightstown facing New Castle, while games at Jay County and Delta that began on May 20 continue today—updates will follow as results are posted.
On Tuesday, May 20, IHSAA girls track sectionals took place in East Central Indiana where Muncie-area athletes earned spots for regionals.
Yorktown won the team title at Delta High School—ending Delta’s three-year winning streak, and athletes like Delta’s Jillian Barr and Wapahani’s AnnMarie Gibson won multiple events.
