- ➤ Debbie Bennett, longtime CEO of Hillcroft Services, will retire Dec. 31 after 33 years leading the nonprofit — supporting individuals with disabilities and families. The board has formed a search committee and Bennett will assist with the transition through 2026. Star Press
- ➤ Ball Brothers Foundation spotlighted Shafer Leadership Academy, a nonprofit that grew from a pilot program into a regional hub for leadership training. It now serves about 7,000 residents across eight counties with programs that build skills for effective local leadership + civic engagement. Star Press
