A head-on collision on Indiana 67 near Delaware County Road 700 West on Tuesday morning reportedly killed one person when a vehicle caught fire — several emergency responders arrived as traffic on the four-lane road was closed for an extended period.

Yorktown High School hired former Muncie Central coach Justin Ullom as its new boys basketball head coach, replacing Matt Moulton; he brings 11 seasons of coaching experience — including a sectional title at Monroe Central — and will work to improve a team that finished 7-17 last season.
