- ➤ Muncie Animal Care & Services received a $16,500 grant from national nonprofit Petco Love to fund spaying, neutering and other vital pet care services. Dana Salkoski said the funds will help cover the shelter’s rising costs for vaccinations, medicines and emergency treatments while it works to reduce pet overpopulation in the area. Star Press
