Muncie will celebrate eight public artworks with free events on April 24 and 25 across several venues featuring live music, games and crafts to honor local art backed by a $500,000 investment.

Muncie Arbor Day Celebration

9 a.m.-1 p.m. — Minnetrista Museum & Gardens — Free event — Celebrate Arbor Day with a sapling giveaway, planting demos, and family-friendly crafts.

Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass Performance

7:30-9 p.m. — Sursa Performance Hall, Ball State University — $10/adult, free for students — Experience the grandeur of Haydn's classical masterpiece performed by a live orchestra.

Bob Ross Painting Workshop

4-7 p.m. — Minnetrista Museum & Gardens — $65 — Learn Bob Ross’s famous “wet-on-wet” painting technique in a fun and relaxed environment.

Public Domain Theatre: The Passion of Joan of Arc

6:30-8 p.m. — Cornerstone Center for the Arts — Free entry — Experience the haunting 1928 silent film that showcases one of the greatest performances in cinema history.
