Muncie-area high school baseball teams played games from April 14th to April 19th that showed mixed results, and standout players like Trey McIntire for Blackford and Landen Porfidio for Winchester Community impressed with strong pitching and hitting performances—scores ranged from shutouts to high-scoring contests.

Local golfers battled wet and windy conditions at Hickory Hills Golf Club during Saturday's Monroe Central Invitational.

Monroe Central won with a team score of 328 — Cohen West earned low medalist honors with a 71 as all ten teams completed 18 holes after a one-hour delayed start.
