  • On April 2, Indiana’s regular gas averaged $3.949 per gallon and Muncie saw its price at $3.882—while Brown County charged $4.20 and Scott County offered the lowest at $3.65.  Star Press

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Ball State University has named Cristina Goletti as the new dean of its College of Fine Arts with her appointment effective July 1 as the college prepares for the fall opening of its 65,000 sqft Performing Arts Center — Goletti brings national experience from Northern Colorado.  Star Press
  • Muncie Community Schools will host a kindergarten roundup on April 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at six elementary schools so families can register eligible 5-year-olds and visit open enrollment for preschool through 12th grade.  Star Press
