The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that Midwest gas prices rose last week to $3.02 per gallon from $2.89, an 8 cent increase from the previous week, and they remain about 3.0% below the national average of $3.12 per gallon—showing a modest regional benefit compared to nationwide levels.

Six Muncie-area schools competed at the Hoosier State Relays indoor track and field state championships held Saturday at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis — Delta led with 20 qualifiers and Shenandoah’s girls 4x400 relay team placed second.
