- ➤ The Muncie Redevelopment Commission bought the old Concannon's Pastry Shop property for $650,000, ending plans for a convenience store and gas station near Central High School. City officials say they will work with local groups to plan new development that addresses safety and traffic concerns — more discussions are expected. Star Press
- ➤ U.S. Rep. Victoria Spartz will host a town hall meeting on Saturday, March 29 at Muncie City Hall (300 N. High St) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. She is in her third term representing Indiana's 5th District. Star Press

- ➤ The NCAA transfer portal opened on March 24 and will remain open until April 22 as Ball State rebuilds its roster after finishing with a 14-17 record and missing the MAC Tournament for the second year.
