Luke Morgan scored a career-high 28 points as Ta'Shaun Beatty had a double-double, and the team dedicated the win to coach Rick Owens while awaiting the IHSAA semi-state selection. Star Press
- ➤ Delta boys basketball clinched a 40-30 win over Blackhawk Christian in the IHSAA Class 3A championship on March 14 at New Castle High School. Sophomore Ryan Lynch led the late surge that gave the Eagles their fourth straight title under coach Mark Detweiler. Star Press
