Ball State women’s basketball advanced in the MAC Tournament on March 11 in Cleveland after Grace Kingery posted a personal best 25 points—Bree Salenbien added 18 and a late timeout helped the team secure a 75—63 win over Bowling Green.

Ball State in Muncie fired head basketball coach Michael Lewis after four seasons of declining performance, and athletic director Jeff Mitchell said a new coach will be hired before the NCAA Tournament Final Four (expected early April).
