Second Harvest Food Bank will host five tailgate food distributions from March 10 to 13 at sites in Marion, North Manchester, Muncie, New Castle and Winchester while supplies last.

The events are open to residents without restrictions.

The 36th Minnetrista Annual Juried Art Show features varied media from painting to ceramics at Minnetrista Museum and Gardens and runs through May 3 — curated by Purdue University Galleries’ Erika Kvam, it highlights local artists.

Muncie's First Thursday Gallery Walk takes place on March 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. downtown, offering art exhibits, live music and interactive displays at venues including 111 Arts Gallery, The MurrayGallery, and Ball State University's IDIA Lab—while Elm Street Brewing Co. hosts local songwriter sessions afterward.

Updated schedules, scores and pairings for the 2025-26 Indiana high school boys basketball sectional tournaments were released yesterday, with Tuesday games in regions such as Muncie (Muncie Central faced Richmond) and additional matchups set for Wednesday and Friday; Talkin’ Hoops Live aired at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday to review the action.

On March 3, Muncie Central beat Richmond with a 56 to 47 victory in their Class 4A Sectional 9 boys basketball opener, led by Shemar Taylor’s 19 points and five steals.

The Bearcats will meet Mt. Vernon in the sectional semifinal on Friday, March 6.
