  • The 13th season of the Muncie Three Trails Music Series kicks off on July 11 with seven free concerts at Canan Commons and the Brown Family Amphitheater — featuring Grammy-winning artists such as Micheal Cleveland and Flor De Toloache — to celebrate local musical culture.  Star Press

  • Michael J. Hicks, a Ball State professor, said quality of life now plays a key role in drawing workers and reducing wage demands.   • Ball State women’s basketball has seen six international freshmen (all first-timers) join and help hold a 23-6 record so far after last season’s MAC championship.
