- ➤ Nine East Central Indiana wrestlers competed at the IHSAA state wrestling finals on Feb. 20-21 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse; four earned state runner-up finishes & the area enjoyed its strongest wrestling season in nine years. Star Press
- ➤ The IHSAA unveiled all 64 sectional brackets for the boys basketball state tournament yesterday on IHSA tv. The six brackets feature East Central Indiana teams, including matchups at Muncie Central and other local high schools as they prepare for a championship run. Star Press
- ➤ The Indiana high school boys basketball sectional draw was unveiled yesterday on IHSAAtv.org with pairings announced for each regional. Sectional play begins March 3 & state finals will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on March 28. Star Press
