The Barricade Boys, a musical theater vocal group, will perform at Emens Auditorium at Ball State University at 7:30 p.m. on Feb.
24. The group (featuring four West End performers) will share songs from musicals and stories about their roles in productions like Les Misérables and Wicked.
Ball State University has launched the Humanities in Action program using a $2.5 million Mellon Foundation grant to provide paid internships for at least 75 humanities majors starting fall.
The program supports students with placement and a required internship course in subjects like English and philosophy.
State lawmakers approved Senate Concurrent Resolution 4 to honor fallen Officer Winters by asking INDOT to rename part of Interstate 69 beginning at the 233-mile marker — a tribute to Winters who served Muncie from 1986 to 1991.
