- ➤ Ball State University will present the Tony Award-winning musical Chicago at Emens Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22; tickets are available through Ticketmaster, the Emens Box Office (1800 W. Riverside Ave.), or by phone at 765-285-1539. Star Press
- ➤ Northside Middle School's advanced choir, Titations, is scheduled to present a preview concert for the community at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, at Northside Church of God — 1505 N. Tillotson Ave. The group will appear at the state conference on Saturday, Jan. 17. Star Press
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Indiana BMV announced five new Special Group Recognition license plates available in 2026 that support local nonprofits, universities, and the Indiana Fever Fund to boost education and community programs. The plates cost $40 a year with $25 for the group fee and $15 for administration at the BMV. Star Press
