About this event

Effective instruction is built on trust—not compliance. This training teaches Registered Behavior Technicians how to establish instructional control through reinforcement, predictability, and strong therapeutic rapport while avoiding coercive interactions, excessive prompting, and power struggles. Participants will learn practical, evidence-based strategies to increase learner cooperation, maintain instructional demands, and strengthen therapeutic relationships without compromising dignity or clinical effectiveness. Through role-play, case analysis, and interactive exercises, RBTs will leave with skills they can immediately apply in everyday sessions.
